Join us for an unforgettable evening of dazzling fireworks, live entertainment, great food and drink, and community spirit under the Poynton night sky.
This much-loved annual event brings together thousands of people for a safe, well-organised, and family-friendly night, all while raising vital funds for local charities, community groups, and good causes.

Advance tickets only – no tickets will be sold at the gate
Safety
For everyone’s safety, please note:
- Sparklers and personal fireworks are not permitted
- Please follow all instructions from marshals, security, and police
- Remain behind safety barriers at all times, do not pass the spectator fence line
- No glass can be brought onto the site
- No alcohol may be brought onto the site
- Alcohol is only available from the licensed bar (over 18s)

Parking and Transport
There is no parking on-site or on surrounding roads. Parking restrictions will be enforced, so please plan ahead.
Walking
Poynton Park is centrally located and walking is the easiest and most enjoyable option. Most areas of Poynton are within a mile, and Five Ways is just over a mile away.
Driving & Nearby Car Parks
If you do drive, nearby car parks include:
- Waitrose / Civic Centre (SK12 1RB – 5 min walk)
- Poynton Sports Club (SK12 1AG – 3 min walk)
- The Centre, Park Lane (SK12 1RB – 10 min walk)
- Queensway Shopping Centre (SK12 1JG – 10 min walk)
- Well Pharmacy, Park Lane (SK12 1RE – 8 min walk)

FAQs
Do I need a ticket?
Yes, this is an advance eTicket only event. No tickets will be sold at the gate.
How do I enter?
Attendees can enter via the main gate only, from 5.30PM, please arrive early to avoid queues. Bag searches will be conducted for safety reasons.
What should I wear?
Conditions can be cold and wet, so wrap up and wear sturdy footwear such as boots or wellies.
Can Children attend?
Yes of course, but must be kept close to a parent/guardian at all times.
What if my child wanders off?
The on-site team will ensure any lost children will be taken to the first Aid tent.
How do I reach the Family Zone?
There is a dedicated illuminated path for families to reach the family zone, immediately to the left of the entrance.
Are there toilet facilities?
Yes there are porta-loos and urinals behind the bar area.
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed due to the noisy and busy environment.
Will there be a bar?
Yes we have a licensed (cashless) bar serving a range of soft and alcoholic drinks – over 18’s only (challenge 25 ID checking).
Will there be a cash machine?
No, please bring any cash you may require for the fun-fair etc. The on-site bar is cashless.
Will there be food stalls?
Yes there will be a range of independent Food stalls, payment methods may vary.
Can we bring our own sparklers?
No personal sparklers or fireworks of any kind are permitted on site for the safety of our attendees, please enjoy the 2 professional displays.
Will there be a fairground?
Yes there will be a fairground area, run by independent contractors who have all the required safety precautions and insurance.
